One of the challenges I faced was making the glittering sand respond naturally to the pressure exerted by the spheres.
To achieve this, I built a setup that combines X-Particles with Cinema 4D's native tools. This setup allows for micro-collisions while preserving the "shimmer" effect in the final Redshift render.
Seeing the "clay" version alongside the final output reminds me why I love this medium—it perfectly blends physics and art.
